Joao
incorporates 35 different entities, who in their physical lives were
doctors, surgeons, healers and psychologists who are of such a high
soul elevation, they need no longer reincarnate to our physical plane.
Joao can incorporate only one entity at a time but can change entity
at any time, depending on what entity is required by the person being
treated and their condition.
At
the Centre you may purchase food, religious icons, water, crystals and
videotapes, all the money going to keeping the centre running. Everyone
is encouraged to wear white while at the Centre. You cannot drink the
water here and bottled mineral water is sold everywhere. The bottled
water at the centre has been blessed and can be purchased for about
R$1 per large bottle, this water does aid in your healing. Soup is given
free daily around 11am, this soup has been blessed and is delicious.
Prescribed herbs are purchased at the centre for R$10 per bottle, these
herbs are not labelled and it is wise to take stickers to label the
order you are to take them. It is important that only you touch the
contents of these herbs, for this reason we chose not to declare them
in our baggage. Video tapes of surgeries can be purchased for R$10 but
remember to ask well ahead to have them converted into English, as often
they forget to have them ready in time.
Joao
has been the study of many foreign scientific teams from Russia, Germany,
USA, Japan and France, the most extensive and intense study was a two
year study which was completed and presented and made available to the
public in 1995, unfortunately it has never been translated into English.
He encourages research into his healing abilities in the hope that medical
science can utilise some of the knowledge in the treatment of mankind.
Scientists have studied him in detail, performed pathological tests
to reveal that the tumours, substances and tissues removed from the
sick are indeed human tissues from the individuals.
All
results have been positively conclusive and the scientists convinced
of his capabilities, but bewildered as to what to do with the data.
It is very difficult for a scientifically trained mind to comprehend
how he is able to perform such amazing operations with no medical experience
whatsoever. One study concludes that it is their recommendation that
science should urgently devote more serious research into this matter,
which could affect the life of millions throughout the world.
Television
documentary crews are seen regularly at the centre and Joao encourages
them to film the visible operations, often standing aside for them to
film the operation up close.

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO SOUTH AMERICA

My
story began in 1995, when I was diagnosed with degeneration of the hip
joints. After sometime in pain, it was found that I was born with hips
that do not fit into the sockets correctly which had degenerated and
worn away at the surrounding bone. After two pregnancies I also had
a substantial separation of the pubic bone which made my spine and joints
unstable. Due to this condition I had arthritis in my joints, degeneration
in the hips, spine and neck. The doctors advised that I would continue
to deteriorate until I was old enough to have both hips replaced.
Having
always been reasonably fit and having led a more natural and alternative
lifestyle, I decided to find an alternative to pain killers and hopefully,
a better quality of life. I have tried many therapies from massage,
laser treatment, acupuncture, physiotherapy, reiki, herbal supplements,
3 weeks in hospital to rehabilitate the body etc that literally ran
into a few thousand dollars over time. Slowly each therapist and specialist
would send me on to someone else, until no one would take on my treatment.
Eventually, all exercise was removed, walking on the beach was removed,
my lifestyle was decreased with each therapist until I felt abandoned,
hopeless and depressed. My children wished I would get better, so I
could do things other mothers would do, like get down on the floor and
play dolls etc. My greatest wish was to find someone who would see me
through the treatments, answer my questions, and guide me in the right
direction - this was not to be. Pain is a depressing, controlling and
debilitating condition that can sink an otherwise positive person into
the depths of despair.
On
1 June 1999 I travelled to Auckland for yet another therapy and treatment
on my hips and visited a friend who owns and operates a spiritual development
school. Whilst waiting to see her, I browsed at the shelf of books for
sale, not actually wanting a book at that particular time, I was surprised
to be led to a book behind others on the shelf called "The Miracle
Man" by Robert Pellegrino-Estrich. Upon picking up the book, I
bought it instantly, not knowing the contents. My mother had passed
away the previous November, I truly believe she led me to find this
book.
Usually
a slow reader, I read this book within a day and knew that I wanted
to go to Brazil. My husband Craig, although a believer, was a little
taken back at the idea, and frankly thought the desire would decrease
after I settled down from the amazing book I had read. This was not
to be the case, with my mother as my driving force, she helped make
this trip a reality.
Craig
and I have a dear friend Drew, who at 38 years old has Chronic Lymphocytic
Leukaemia. This type of leukemia is rare for his age and there is no
cure available with orthodox medicine. He had been ill for some time
and the doctors held out little hope. My mother had left me some money
in her will - what was left was enough for myself and my friend Drew
to make this trip. When Craig realised I was totally committed to this
trip, he gave me his full support, although he did not share the same
faith in a recovery. I am grateful to have a husband who loves and supports
me, and has the spiritual awareness to have helped me through so much.
It is difficult to explain, but I had 100% faith in this trip to Brazil,
even though I knew very little of what I was getting myself into. My
mother came to me in my thoughts and stressed that this trip must take
place in August. This left very little time for planning, but I knew
I must go during August as the window of opportunity was there. Craig's
mum Noeline, would come and look after my children of 5 & 7 years,
run the house and look after Craig. Without this wonderful lady, this
trip would not have been possible.
