| CASA CRYSTAL BEDS ... continued | ||

Those of you who have been to the Casa will be familiar with the Crystal bed - the Entity regularly 'prescribes' sessions on the bed to help supplement the healing process. There are five crystal beds located in buildings adjacent to the main Casa building. Each bed has 7 quartz crystals suspended above the bed which align with and correspond to the 7 chakras of the human body. A session consists of lying on the bed for approximately 20 minutes while listening to soothing music. The crystals radiate color to the respective chakras to cleanse them and to balance their energies. The Entity may prescribe crystal-bed therapy for you, or you may choose to have a therapeutic session on your own. In our most recent newsletters we provided a list of individuals who were given special permission from the Entity to purchase one of these crystal beds, thereby enabling them to offer these unique treatment sessions at home. J. Krieger, California "Love is the medicine." Rumi's words summarize my experience at the Casa. The witness of spiritual and physical healings has left me forever changed. Walking through the door into my precious healing studio behind my Victorian house, I am unfailingly touched by the Energy that is present since I was directed to add "the icing on the cake" (a literal dream), the crystal bed. I was told by the Entities that they would be with me in my healing practice. Indeed, as I have worked, some people have felt more than my two hands on their bodies. One woman (who had not been to the Casa) was visited by the Entity, Dr. Augusto, during one of her sessions. As she described him, I searched for his picture on my bookshelf. Her response to seeing it was "Oh yes, that's him." These reports and visitations strengthen my faith and commitment to provide a sacred space for theunfolding of the healing we each gave birth for. During my last visit to the Casa, I was given a dark red scar on my belly after invisible surgery…I stay on the path, and miracles abound! In addition to the presence of the crystal bed in my healing sessions, I was given permission by the Entity to continue to include the work that I love and have been schooled in: hands-on healing, subtle and medicinal use of essential oils, counseling, intuitive guidance, and, of course, prayer. While eating soup at the Casa during my last visit, I kept finding myself seated next to people who have a "casa current group" in their towns all over the globe. In addition, I had a luminous dream in which I was being guided to pray aloud in such a group. I asked the Entity, and was told that they would be with us as we sit together in current in Santa Cruz. By no coincidence, after asking, I met a lovely couple who offered the perfect sacred space for our sessions. We have been meeting now for 4 months. I personally have felt my body being worked on and the relief of symptoms during the sessions. Even better, many of us report feeling the healing Presence that we do at the Casa. If you have been to the Casa, you are welcome! I am so grateful to the Entities, to the Casa, and to the Love that led me to say "yes" to "do whatever I can so that not even one day goes by without a rendering of aid to one of Nature's living creatures" (Emmanuel-Francisco Candido "Chico" Xavier). I am open to receiving anyone who feels drawn to my studio. The fee is minimal, and half of it returns to the Casa with our gratitude. |

People who received surgery were told to stay sedentary for five full days rather than for the normal 24 hours. We were told by Casa Mediums that this day is the second most powerful day at the Casa; second to Dom Ignacio's birthday that attracts thousands of people. The crystals in our bed were sitting next to the Entity on Good Friday and were also passed by the Entity for an additional blessing in the goodbye line. Friends, This past year Medium João asked me to serve as his liaison to North America for future healing tours. I accepted, with deep appreciation and renewed commitment to his healing mission. I've been hard at work reviewing the numerous offers from various organizations wishing to sponsor his next tour. your illuminated mission and of your peace.
Those of us who have travelled to the Casa can readily attest to the truth of the above statement. It does not necessarily matter if we know who the source is or the story behind it. Our understanding of it is gleaned through the lens of our direct awareness, our personal healing experience. | Remembering Drew Umbers | ||
| A regular
visitor to the Casa, Drew Umbers from New Zealand touched the lives of
many many people who he met in Abadiania. His initial journey to the Casa
is captured in Sharon's story which features in our 'Healing

Sadly Drew passed away on December 21st last with his wife Zhenia by his side. Here we remember him by sharing with you some of his classic words of wisdom and advice to a friend in 2001 and also we share with you special tributes written by his good friends Christopher and Sally.
