NOTICES REGARDING CASA SCHEDULE

Notice re Casa Schedule
We are increasingly aware that those of you planning trips to Abadiânia seek reassurances that João will be at the Casa at that particular time. Any changes to the regular Casa schedule (when brought to our attention) will be detailed in this section. Also we will circulate notification to those registered with the Friends of the Casa.

Dear Friends of the Casa,

I am sorry that the registration date for the John of God at Omega 2008 event had to be postponed by one month - (Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Rhinebeck, state of New York ). The reason for the delay being two fold. The first being that Skip Backus, Executive Director of Omega, will be travelling to Brazil the first week of March and we will meet to finalize the protocols and details with Medium Joao and the Entities. Secondly, the Omega printed Catalogue will be delivered to homes during the first week of March. This new registration date will give those, who perhaps have not heard of John of God or the event, an equal opportunity for the registration which will commence on Thursday 6th March. The event will take place on the 29th, 30th September. 1st and 2nd October, 2008.

We are immensely grateful for your support and service to the Casa and John of God's mission and thank you for your understanding in this small delay.

Medium João, and his wife Ana, very much enjoyed being at Omega last year and he has said that he would return as many times as he is invited! We are all looking forward to returning to Omega's sacred ground and beautiful campus for another exquisite healing event with the Entities of Light and John of God.

"John of God and the Beloved Entidades (Spirit Guides of John of God) have given me my life as a professional photographer, a 'spirit' photographer and most recently as an official guide to the Casa de Dom Inacio de Loyola. I am finally fulfilling a dream of service that I had always wanted since I was first told by the Entidades to bring groups to the Casa in 2001....... There is nothing more I would wish to do with my life than to share spirit in all of my work. With Grace to inspire, having been given faith in our Divine Birthright, may we each shine in our own glory on the path to total forgiveness and liberation."

The Hotel Villa Verde has been renamed. Now: The Hotel Rei Davi - (King David) this new name was the choice of Entities Pai Jose and Dr. Augusto who suggested the change of name and declared this to be a "beautiful and strong name".

The new managers of the Hotel Rei Davi are Charlene and her husband Marcio. They very much look forward to receiving guests at the Rei Davi, a two story building (paraquet green on the outside) located on a quiet street a short 4 minute walk from the Casa.

Gelson and Neusa, who were leasing the hotel, have returned to their home in the south of Brazil. They originally came to the Casa in search of healing for their son, Junior, who was physically handicapped by Polio as a child. We are all thrilled that Junior received his healing at the Casa, has graduated college, and received a two month scholarship to California last year to play in a wheel chair basket ball team. Junior is now playing internationally on this team representing Brazil AND is engaged to be married this July. May Junior continue to be blessed with health, vitality, success and much happiness! Those of you who have been to the Casa will be familiar with the Crystal bed - the Entity regularly 'prescribes' sessions on the bed to help supplement the healing process.

There are five crystal beds located in buildings adjacent to the main Casa building. Each bed has 7 quartz crystals suspended above the bed which align with and correspond to the 7 chakras of the human body. A session consists of lying on the bed for approximately 20 minutes while listening to soothing music. The crystals radiate color to the respective chakras to cleanse them and to balance their energies. The Entity may prescribe crystal-bed therapy for you, or you may choose to have a therapeutic session on your own.

In our most recent newsletters we provided a list of individuals who were given special permission from the Entity to purchase one of these crystal beds, thereby enabling them to offer these unique treatment sessions at home.

Since the Friends of the Casa website was lauched in mid 2002 many people (who have already visited the Casa) have completed the Friends' questionnaire which requests feedback on individual Casa experiences and reasons for visiting. Dearest Friends of The Casa.

In the spirit of resolutions for a New Year filled with immense gratitude and with wishes for health, joy, love, peace and abundance, I am pleased to announce that our beloved Medium João will once again travel to the United States for a second healing tour at the Omega Institute. The first event was extraordinary - a summary of the event, in both words and photos, is available in the October '07 FOC newsletter. Medium João is eager to return to Omega and continue his healing mission. And once again, at the Entities and John of God's request, it is a pleasure and privilege to accompany him as his translator and coordinator to work with Omega to organize the 2008 event.

The Omega event is scheduled for September 29, 30, October 1, 2. ALL registration details will be handled by Omega Staff, by phone and on-line starting FEBRUARY 4, 2008. You may call 800 944 1001 or log onto www.eomega.org.

I will continue to work closely with Executive Director Skip Backus, Program Coordinator Carol Donahoe, and their team in the coming months, drawing upon our experience from last year to make improvements for the event and to clarify Casa guidelines and procedures to ensure another successful healing tour. For those who are not familiar with the Omega Institute, it has an impeccable track record in exploring, teaching, and embracing new ideas in health and spirituality. Since 1977, the Omega Institute has sponsored many of the nations leading visionaries and organizes events that enrich our lives in the areas of complimentary medicine and wellness, indigenous cultural traditions and sustainability and the environment.

The event will be held at Omega's Rhinebeck Campus in New York. Omega's courteous and professional staff handled registration details impeccably last October and I am sure they will do their best again this year. Last year the event sold out in less than a month and as we expect the same enthusiastic response this time, I suggest that you make your plans in a timely manner. I also ask that you honor the registration date of FEBRUARY 4th when the registration teams will be set up and available- please do not call before this date.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing Omega Team and all the volunteers who assisted in the 2007 event. Many thanks to my colleagues Bob Dinga and Diana Rose for their invaluable assistance. Thank you to Noberto Krug, Martin Mosquera, Inez, Sonia and Diego Coppola, Rosa Machado (Florida), and Dorothy Cooke, who undertook the long journey from Abadiânia to support Medium João and his wife Ana. I also want to thank the team leaders of each healing room for their work: Josie RavenWing, Rosa Haritos, Peter Waugh, Emma Bragdon, Gary Walker and Thom Levy.
